Abstract: This paper narrates the development trend of concrete dam safety automatized monitoring technology in China in three aspects of safety monitoring instrument, data acqusition system, monitoring, controlling and managing system respectively. Interface standard of smart sensor, open features of data acqusition system and comprehensive decision support system are expected to become inevitable trends in the future.?
