Anti-sliding stability analysis of gravity dams based on rigid body equilibrium and discrete element strength reduction

Abstract: The anti-sliding stability analysis of gravity dams is one of the key issues in the safety design of dam engineering. Taking Jiaokou river reservoir as an example, based on actual engineering geologi- cal conditions and dam structure, the contact surface between concrete gravity dam and bedrock is deter- mined to be the anti-sliding stability control surface. The anti-sliding stability of the gravity dam foun - dation is systematically analyzed by two methods-theoretical formula calculation and discrete element numerical simulation, and the shear stability safety coefficient and the discrete element displacement contour with different strength reduction coefficients are calculated. The results show that the dam foun- dation is stable under all design conditions. The consistency between the calculated results based on specifications and the numerical simulation results is good. Further suggestions are put forward to strengthen the dam foundation surface treatment and arrange waterproof and seepage prevention facili- ties, which can be technical reference for similar projects.

摘要: 重力坝抗滑稳定分析是坝工安全设计的关键问题之一。以交口河水库工程为研究背景,依据实际工程地质条件及坝体结构,确定混凝土重力坝与基岩接触面为抗滑稳定控制面,采用理论公式计算和离散元数值模拟两种方法并进的方式对重力坝坝基抗滑稳定性进行系统分析,计算重力坝抗剪稳定安全系数和不同强度折减系数下的离散元位移云图。结果表明,在不同设计工况下大坝基础均处于稳定状态,基于规范计算结果与数值模拟结果一致性良好。笔者进一步提出了加强基面处理和布置防水防渗设施的建议,可为类似水库工程提供技术参考。
