Due to the lack of industry standards and the low revision frequency of national standards, the set of safety signs for hydropower projects in China is not standardized. By survey of current situation of safety signs for hydropower projects, the existing problems are summarized and the cause reasons are analyzed. Combined with the engineering practice, suggestions for standardization of safety signs are proposed, for reference.
