Abstract: The vacuum laser alignment automation observation instruments and it’s application in the dam of Shenwo Reservoir are introduced together. The case study has shown that laser alignment automation observation systems excelled in convenience, quick-ness, high efficiency and precision. It is a kind of effective instruments for safe management of a dam.
