Abstract

Abstract: This paper presents a compilation of data summaries on dam failures and the life safety consequences from the flooding caused by failures that have occurred in the United States. It has been prepared by the National Performance of Dams Program (NPDP) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University.
