Abstract: Dam safety supervision of hydropower stations is an important measure taken by government to ensure public safety and avoid dam overtopping and dam failure accidents. Practice in recent 30 years in China has proved that dam safety supervision plays an important role in supervising power enterprises to undertake the main responsibility of dam safety, standardize the safety management of dam operation and eliminate defects in time, as well as ensuring the safe operation of hydropower dams. This paper analyses the current situation and achievements of dam safety supervision system of hydropower stations in China, points out the problems existing in dam safety supervision at present, and puts forward some suggestions for improvement.

摘要： 水电站大坝安全监管是政府为确保公共安全，避免漫坝、溃坝事故发生所采取的重要措施。我国近30年来的实践证明，大坝安全监管对督促电力企业落实大坝安全主体责任、规范大坝运行安全管理、及时消缺处理，确保水电站大坝运行安全发挥了重要作用。分析了我国水电站大坝安全监管体系建设情况和取得的成效，指出了当前大坝安全监管中存在的问题，并提出了改进建议。
