Effect assessment of reinforcement for overload at the left abutment of Lijiaxia arch dam based on monitoring data

Abstract: Combined with current situation of reinforcement by anchor cable at the left abutment of Lijiaxia arch dam, prototype observation test results and simulation by FEM were used to evaluate the reinforcement effect. By analysis, the conclusion was gotten that after the reinforcement, the original tensile stress in the reinforcement area reduced or turned into compressive stress, or the compressive stress increased and the stress distribution was becoming homogenized. As a result, the reinforcement enhanced the stability of the left abutment.

摘要: 结合李家峡拱坝左岸坝肩锚索加固的现状,采用大坝原型加密观测试验成果,并运用间接评价方法和有限元仿真模拟计算,对坝肩预锚超载加固效果进行评价。分析认为,左岸坝肩超载加固后,左重力墩表部群锚加固区的径、切向拉应力值减小或拉应力转变为压应力或压应力变大,应力分布有均匀化趋势。结论是超载加固提高了左岸坝肩的整体稳定性。
