Stability evaluation of dumping slope at right abutment of Kezier reservoir and its rehabilitation

Abstract: By analysis on the prototype observation data, the stability problems of seepage and deformation at the right abutment of Kezil reservoir dam were introduced during impoundment, earthquakes and abrupt change of reservoir levels. According to the geological conditions, deformation development degree and process, calculation results were employed to evaluate the overall stability of dumping slope at the right abutment, and conclusion was gotten that the overall stability was satisfactory. However, the stability of dumping slope near the W150 cut-off wall and above the dam crest is in poor condition, and potential shear sliding may occur at the slope toe of the dam crest. Thus, rehabilitation schemes and measures for the dumping slope were comprehensively studied. The idea that safety monitoring should be strengthened after its rehabilitation to provide reliable basis for decision-making and analysis was advanced.

摘要: 通过原型观测资料分析,简要介绍了右坝肩在水库蓄水、地震及库水位骤变过程中存在的渗流、变形不稳定问题。结合右坝肩工程地质条件、变形发展程度及过程,引用计算成果对右坝肩倾体边坡整体稳定性较好做了评价,但W150截渗墙附近、坝顶以上的倾倒体边坡在地震工况下稳定性较差,存在自坝顶坡脚处剪出滑动的可能;同时对右坝肩倾倒体的除险加固方案及措施做了综合说明,提出完工后必须加强右坝肩工程部位的安全监测工作,为决策分析提供可靠依据。
