Abstract: Rehabilitation of the 18th seawall in Jordan was a project based on soft foundation.The original seawall was out of operation because of great settlement.As the special geological conditions, the foundation stability was a key part in construction.This paper introduced the application of B－bar monitoring index in the rehabilitation, which was used as guidance for rehabilitation process, worthy reference.

摘要： 约旦18 号海堤修复工程为一软基工程，原海堤在建成投入使用后因沉降量过大而停止运营，需加固后重新投运。工程地质条件特殊，地基基础的稳定性在整个施工过程中起到了决定性的作用。施工过程中，用B－bar 监控指标来指导整个工程施工进度，保证了施工安全，对软基工程的施工监控具有重要的参考意义。
