Abstract: The cemented masonry gravity－arch dam of Xiangshan reservoir has been in operation for more than 30 years.There are 6 transverse cracks which exert bad influence on the dam safety.This paper analysed the cause reasons for cracks in aspects such as dam stress, quality of dam and dam abutment.The result showed that the poor quality of dam and dam abutment was the main reason for the cracks.At last, treatment measures were advanced．

摘要： 香山水库浆砌石重力拱坝运用30 多年来，坝体出现6 条横向裂缝，危及坝体安全。从坝体应力、坝体质量、坝肩质量等几个方面，对坝体横向裂缝的成因进行了分析，认为坝体、坝肩质量问题是产生裂缝的原因，提出了加固处理措施。
