Abstract: As the country pays more attention to the safety of the dams,especially the underwater safety of them,the former detection technology is no longer satisfying the requirement of recent management on the safety and information of dams, According to the pratice in the underwater of FENGMAN DAM and YUNFENG DAM, we developed a software system entitled “Underwater Detection Imaging Multimedia Management System” and provide a visible management platform for the safety management of dam.The aim of this paper is to introduce a set of convenient and accurate technique routes and the way how to research and realize the software system. It is believed that the system is an important key step to realize the concept of digital management of dams.
