Abstract: Construction of Shuifeng dam started in 1937. Because of poor design and low-quality construction, many problems occurred. During Korean War, bombing caused serious damage to the dam body. After rehabilitation, innovation and careful maintenance, the dam has been in operation for 70 years. This paper introduced the dam operation, problems encountered, rehabilitation, safety evaluation and innovation of flood control structures, for reference.
