Abstract: Been in operation for some time, maintenance and renovation should be carried out for small hydropower stations. Combined with the renovation design of discharge gate at the fore bay of Zhangcun hydropower station, this paper introduced the process in aspects including schemes comparison, structure design and adoption of shrinkage-compensating concrete. Further, some considerations were advanced.
