Abstract: Qingtongxia dam was evaluated as diseased dam in the first periodic inspection. Aiming at the defects, dam safety management was enhanced and some rehabilitation measures were carried out which ensured the safety operation of the dam. This paper analysed the first periodic inspection as well as dam rehabilitation and renovation, for reference．
