Abstract: In this paper, a new method for dam rehabilitation effect evaluation which based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD) was presented. To improve effectiveness of this method, robust estimation theory was applied to separate the environmental trend component. Further, specific example based on EMD proved the effectiveness of the method applied in dam rehabilitating effect evaluation.
