Abstract: This article applied the partial least- squares regression theory to static gray model, eliminated the bad impact of serious multicollinearity among factors, established a new dam safety monitoring model, and analyzed strain data of Heihe reservoir. The research analysis indicated that static gray model based on partial least- squares regression was superior to traditional static gray model, and this article provided a newidea and research method for damsafetymonitoring.
