Abstract: The year of 2005 is the first year of performance of the law Dam Operation Safety Management Regulation in Hydropower Station, in which the third round dam safety inspection for dams under electricity sector have started. This paper reviewed the dam inspections implemented in 2005, and according to the requirement of the third round dam safety inspection the author analyzed the problems, pointed out some questions to which we should pay attention.?
