Abstract: Taipingwan power plant built an earthquake monitoring sub-station and keeps the station updated as part of the earthquake prevention. The advanced monitoring equipment and installation sites are well selected. All monitoring equipment are preapproved by the National Earthquake Bureau of China. As a part of prevention, the knowledge of earthquake and damage control is well advertised to the public. The regulations and rules of corresponding authorities are well followed and enforced. The prevention work principle is well and intensively prepared internally, but not cause general public to be panic.
