Abstract: Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station (GPSPS) is the largest power station of its kind in the world. Upper dam and lower dam have been operating safely for 13 years. We have accumulated certain experience on dam safety management. This article mainly summarized the situations of flood prevention，dam monitoring and dam maintenance in GPSPS，in order to promote the management of dam safety and ensure the dam safety and obtain more benefits.
