Abstract: This paper presents an optimization model for reliability degree of large dam using Box’s complex method, and a computer program is also given. The suggested method is able to. Search for the minimal design point within whole allowable zone, and not to make the magnitude of design point contradict physical concept by JC method. Finally three case histories are given to verify the validation of suggested method.?
