Abstract: Eight breached dams in China were selected to be investigated in this paper, elementary information about dam breach and loss of life obtained; for setting up the evaluating module of loss of life due to dambreach, the important effecting factors of loss of life were preliminarily analyzed, and then the characteristics of loss of life were explored in several aspects.

摘要： 本文选择了我国发生过重大生命损失的八座已溃决大坝进行现场调查, 获得了大坝溃决及其生命损失的基本情况, 分析了生命损失影响因素具有的主要特征, 并对生命损失规律进行探讨, 为溃坝生命损失评价模型研究提供了第一手资料。
