Abstract: According to the statistical result of dam failure events of embankment dams in China, the types and causes of dam failure, such as overflow, engineering quality defect and improper management, are analyzed. Furthermore, the main preventive measures are put forward, including paying more attention to monitoring, data analysis, information reporting and supervision, on-site inspection and comprehensive analysis, as well as improving response capacity and eliminating defects in time.

摘要: 根据国内土石坝工程溃坝失事的统计成果,在分析漫坝、工程质量问题、管理不当等失事类型及原因的基础上,提出了要重视监测与分析、信息报送与监控,以及加强现场检查、综合分析、提高应对能力、及时消缺等主要预防措施。
