Abstract: Safe operation of hydropower dams not only directly affects the production safety and economic benefit, but also exert influence on life and property of millions of people downstream. Dam safety registration of hydropower stations is one of the main methods for government to strengthen the safety supervision of hydropower dams. This paper mainly expounds the importance of dam safety registration and introduces the current laws and regulations system, supervision system and ongoing work related to dam safety registration. Moreover, it probes into the existing problems and puts forward suggestions for future improvement.

摘要： 水电站大坝安全运行不仅直接影响电力企业的安全生产和经济效益，同时关系到大坝下游千百万人民的生命财产安全。水电站大坝安全注册是政府加强对水电站大坝安全监管的主要手段之一。主要阐述了大坝安全注册的重要性，介绍了当前与大坝安全注册相关的法规体系、监管体系及工作开展情况，探讨了大坝安全注册工作存在的问题，并提出了改进的建议。
