Abstract: The successful-rate of monitoring instruments installation in dam body is nearly interrelated with monitoring design, installation and usual management . This article draws a conclusion from the experience of monitoring instruments layout and installa-tion, analyses many reasons leading the monitoring instruments misfunction.
