Abstract: This paper expatiated the characteristic and difficulty of safety monitoring in construction and first water impoundment process, and emphasized on the importance of safety monitoring in construction, data analysis and research on safety monitoring technology. Finally, the idea that there should be more technology and outlay investment in construction safety monitoring was put forward.
