Abstract: Dam safety monitoring is an important way to know the whole dam running state and guarantee the safety operation of dams, one kind of valid means to test the effects of design, to examine the quality of project and know various physical change rules. The dam safety monitoring automation system of Feilaixia Water Conservancy Project employs GDSKS distributed system with especially excellent bus type topology structure. It proved to be safe, applicable and scientific. This paper briefly introduced its general structure and function characteristic.
